Apoha, a deeptech company developing "Liquid State Intelligence" for physical-world AI, has emerged from stealth with a $36 million funding round led by Singular, joined by Draper Associates and existing seed investors. This marks Apoha's first major funding round, which will be used to build out its data layer for molecular behavior measurement. The company's science, stemming from founder Shamit Shrivastava's 2008 research, has led to over 60 patents.
