Antioch Inc., a ~16-month-old simulation software startup founded in May 2025 by Harry Mellsop [ex-Tesla Autopilot] and four co-founders from Transpose [acquired by Chainalysis in 2023], Google DeepMind and Meta Reality Labs, announced $32M in new funding on Sept. 8, 2026 — described as its Series A and the first major funding disclosed since founding.
Its cloud software calibrates simulation to a customer's own hardware to let robotics, autonomy and perception teams run thousands of parallel evaluations instead of single costly physical tests, with Nvidia noted as a partner and Amazon/Ring VP Jason Mitura cited saying simulations closely matched physical test results.
The company said funds will be used for product development, engineering hires and deeper simulation capabilities; the article did not disclose investors, valuation, or specific metrics such as client count, revenue, pipeline or employee count.
