French defense tech startup Alta Ares has secured €50 million in its Series A funding round, led by Air Street Capital with participation from Cherry Ventures, OTB Ventures, and Harpoon Ventures. This funding will be used to significantly ramp up production of their AI-powered air defense interceptors, with hundreds of deliveries planned in the next six months to multiple countries. Alta Ares differentiates itself by having systems currently deployed and operational in active conflict zones in Europe and the Middle East.
