Alethio Therapeutics Series A

Abingdon-on-Thames-based Alethio Therapeutics, a 2021 spin-out from the University of Oxford, has secured an oversubscribed $90 million (€80.46 million) Series A financing round. The round was co-led by new investors Sofinnova Partners and RA Capital, with participation from founding investor Oxford Science Enterprises, Cancer Research Horizons, and the University of Oxford. The biopharmaceutical company will use the funds to advance its pipeline of targeted therapies designed to selectively eliminate disease-driving cells in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms.
