Users can review, write, and deploy code without any engineering support. The technology aims to make complex automation accessible to non-technical users. It is built on Anthropic's MCP standard, which was introduced in late 2024. Desktop Commander already has thousands of daily active users. The new funding will help expand its local automation tools for a wider audience. The team is currently beta-testing a paid offering to extend the core functionality.
