DeepMind says it is now rolling out Gemini 4 Argon broadly after a gated trial with defenders, and I think the timeline matters more than the benchmark brag.
The lab detailed the release as a coding and reasoning step that also solves all 12 end-to-end simulated cyberattack scenarios, up from five in the prior generation, according to the company.
That jump forced a staged release.
Before broad access, Google limited Argon to its Fairwind Program for trusted defenders and its own security teams scanning critical internal and open source systems, per DeepMind.
That window produced the case DeepMind cites where Wiz used Argon to find a critical bug in hospital software that prior models missed, helping protect hundreds of thousands of patient records, according to the company.
