Simulars is a Virtual Reality based platform for social training that exposes children with ASD to real-life situations in a fun and engaging way. The VR platform incorporates the knowledge of experts in the field of ASD research and treatment, together with a gamified experience, creating real-life scenarios that are custom made for the childs needs.The VR platform is coupled with a compatible monitoring app which provides the therapist with full control over the treatment according to the individual capabilities of the child. The platform gathers and analyses data in regards to the sessions, thus the childs progression can be tracked and suitable future treatments can be suggested. The platform enables children with ASD to practice anywhere, be it their homes, their schools or their therapists clinics.
