Pulse Secure

Pulse Secure was a company specializing in secure access solutions, including VPN appliances and software, designed to provide secure remote access for employees and devices. It was originally spun out of Juniper Networks in 2014 with investment from Siris Capital Group. In 2020, Pulse Secure was acquired by Ivanti. The company's products, particularly its VPN software, have been the subject of significant cybersecurity incidents, including a major breach by Chinese hackers in 2021 that exploited a backdoor in its systems, affecting numerous customers.
