Drones are no more just for the supreme enthusiasts, these devices have penetrated the world of technology and our lives and a lot of businesses are looking forward to utilize the capacities of these machines to the best effects. Uses cases start from life saving : rescue operations, law enforcement, disaster management, healthcare and surveillance, through professional services like filming and journalism, geo-mapping and agriculture all the way down to consumer use cases like shipping goods and even taking selfies. But the most troubling issue with drones today is their payload weight boundary. The largest weight a drone can carry today is around 20Kg and for a duration of no more than 20 min with x2 charge duration. McFly’s goal is to commercialize a drone which lifts Large weight in air for a long duration with tiny charge time. McFly is supported by Israel’s IDF R&D entity .
