Ada: Welcome to Today in AI, I'm Ada.
Sam: And I'm Sam. Today, we're tracking a massive surge in AI security stocks and a billion-dollar bet on the physical future of AI.
Ada: Let's kick things off with some truly explosive news from the markets. Salesforce and CrowdStrike absolutely blew past their earnings estimates yesterday, driving the broadest single-session gain in AI security names we've seen in over a year. Salesforce surged by twenty-two point six percent, and CrowdStrike jumped twenty point five percent after both reported stellar fiscal second quarter results.
Sam: This wasn't just isolated to those two either. Palo Alto Networks gained twelve point eight percent in sympathy, ServiceNow added ten percent, and even Nvidia climbed eight percent. It really highlights how much the market is valuing strong performance in the AI security sector right now. It's not just about building AI, but securing it, and these companies are proving they can deliver.
