Amazon's streaming service, Prime Video, has revealed its most-watched original content for the week of May 25th to May 31st. The data highlights global viewing trends, showcasing a mix of action, drama, and comedy.

Leading the charge among original films was Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War. This action-thriller captured the top spot for worldwide viewership.

Top Original Films and Series

The rankings, calculated by the total number of accounts viewing a title, show a clear preference for established franchises and compelling narratives. While English-language content dominated, international productions made a strong showing.

System, an Indian crime drama, secured the top position for non-English Prime Original films. Meanwhile, the German comedy series LOL: Last One Laughing Germany proved to be the most-watched non-English series.

On the series front, Off Campus claimed the number one spot for Prime Original series viewership. This comes as Amazon continues to invest heavily in original programming, a strategy CEO Andy Jassy has highlighted as key to the platform's growth and profitability. As Jassy noted, Prime Video is growing, profitable, and still in its early stages. The platform's diverse offerings, from blockbuster films to buzzworthy series like the recently renewed Reacher, continue to draw viewers globally.
