Fit Collective has raised £3 million in pre-seed funding. The company uses an AI sizing platform to help fashion brands improve garment fit. Inconsistent sizing is a major industry problem. It costs fashion companies an estimated $230 billion annually in returns and lost revenue. Nearly half of all womenswear purchases are returned. The platform acts as a co-pilot for designers before production begins. It analyzes sales data, fabric behavior, and customer return information to predict fit. This proactive approach helps brands create better-fitting clothes from the start. It reduces waste, cuts returns, and improves profitability. Fit Collective already works with brands like Rixo, Ro & Zo, and Boden. The funding round was backed by AlbionVC, SuperSeed, True Global, and January Ventures. The company also received an Innovate UK Smart Grant. This is reportedly the largest pre-seed round raised by a solo female founder in the UK. Fit Collective will use the capital to expand its team and advance product development.
