Cloudflare is integrating OpenAI's advanced large language models, including GPT-5.4, directly into its Agent Cloud platform. This move allows millions of enterprises to build and deploy AI agents capable of performing complex, real-world tasks.

The collaboration enables businesses to leverage OpenAI's frontier models to power agentic workflows, such as automated customer support, system updates, and report generation. These agents will operate within Cloudflare's secure, production-ready environment, running on Cloudflare Workers AI for global scalability and low latency.

"By bringing OpenAI’s powerful models directly into the Cloudflare environment, we are collapsing the distance between intelligence and the end user," said Dane Knecht, CTO at Cloudflare. This integration aims to make AI-driven applications faster and more scalable.

The partnership extends Cloudflare's efforts to embed cutting-edge AI capabilities into enterprise solutions. OpenAI's Codex, a tool for streamlining development, is also being integrated, with general availability in Cloudflare Sandboxes and upcoming availability in Workers AI.

Rohan Varma, Product, Codex, at OpenAI, stated, "Cloud agents are quickly becoming a foundational building block for how work gets done, and with Cloudflare, we’re making it dramatically easier for developers to deploy, production-ready agents powered by GPT-5.4 and Codex to run real enterprise workloads at scale."

Cloudflare's platform already supports major enterprises like Accenture, Walmart, and Morgan Stanley, highlighting its role in powering the intelligence layer for large organizations. OpenAI reports over 1 million business customers and billions of API requests processed weekly.
