AutonomyAI, a startup developing AI-powered tools for front-end software development, has announced its emergence from stealth mode following a $4 million pre-seed funding round. Investors in the round include Inbound Capital, Gilad Shany of Ion Partners, and Vikram Makhiija, Senior Director at Google Cloud Security, among others.
The company’s core product is its Agentic Context Engine (ACE), a system designed to integrate directly with a company’s codebase and organizational frameworks. The ACE system enables autonomous AI agents to produce production-grade front-end code with minimal human oversight. These agents can fetch UI designs, identify and reuse existing components, and execute development tasks that align with company standards—comparable to the output of senior developers.
According to IDC, spending on AI-supporting technologies is projected to reach $227 billion in 2025, with 67% of that spending focused on business integrations like AI agents. By 2028, this figure is expected to grow to $749 billion, surpassing investments in cloud and digital services for the first time. Industry leaders, including Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, have publicly highlighted the organizational efficiency gains from integrating Agentic AI solutions.
AutonomyAI’s approach addresses a key challenge in the current generation of AI tools: the lack of organizational context. CEO Adir Ben-Yehuda stated, “Existing AI coding tools help developers complete tasks, but they don’t operate with awareness of the company’s broader goals or development cycles. Our agents understand those needs and execute accordingly.”
Chairman and co-founder Arik Faingold added, “AutonomyAI is the first AI coding platform built to adapt to a business’s unique context, allowing engineers to be more productive while enabling organizations to redirect efforts toward higher-impact work.”
The company was co-founded by Faingold, previously a co-founder of Pentera and Comm-IT, and CTO Tammuz Dubnov, who leads an engineering team that includes four former CTOs. Their combined experience contributed to the development of the ACE system and the broader AI agent suite.
With its technology and team now public, AutonomyAI aims to lead the emerging space of autonomous AI agents in software development.
