AI firm Anthropic closed a $13 billion Series F funding round. This investment pushes its post-money valuation to $183 billion. Specifically, Iconiq, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners co-led the round.
Anthropic will use the capital to expand enterprise adoption and deepen AI safety research. Moreover, the funds support international expansion. The Anthropic Series F round attracted a wide range of investors. These included Altimeter, Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, Blackstone, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, Insight Partners, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, and Qatar Investment Authority.
Rapid Growth Fuels Anthropic's Expansion
The AI firm reported significant growth in 2025, preceding this Anthropic Series F investment. Annual recurring revenue surged from $1 billion to $5 billion. Additionally, Anthropic now serves over 300,000 business customers. Large accounts, those exceeding $100,000 in run-rate revenue, grew nearly sevenfold in the past year.
Claude Code, a developer product, also drives substantial revenue. It generates over $500 million in run-rate revenue.
Furthermore, usage for Claude Code increased more than tenfold in the last three months. Anthropic previously raised $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation in March 2025.
