1Kosmos, a leader in identity verification and passwordless authentication, recently secured $57 million in Series B funding. Forgepoint Capital and Origami’s Oquirrh Ventures led the round. This investment includes a $10 million line of credit from Bridge Bank.
The new capital will accelerate global expansion for the identity platform. It will also advance product innovation and deepen technology integrations with leading IAM, CIAM, PAM, and zero trust platforms. This funding brings 1Kosmos' total capital raised to over $72 million.
Advancing Identity-First Security
The company will scale direct and channel sales across North America, EMEA, and APAC. 1Kosmos aims to meet escalating demand for identity-first security amid rising impersonation threats. Their platform prevents compromise with live biometrics, verified identity, and phishing-resistant authentication.
1Kosmos offers a unified platform for identity proofing and passwordless authentication. It stores personally identifiable information (PII) encrypted on a private, permissioned blockchain. This eliminates central honeypots, enhancing data security.
The platform leverages AI for adaptive authentication, smarter digital identity verification, and enhanced analytics. It holds certifications like FIDO2, NIST 800-63-3, and FedRAMP High. 1Kosmos offers a unified approach, distinguishing it from competitors like Okta or Ping Identity.
1Kosmos recently achieved FedRAMP High authorization. The company also secured a 10-year, $194.5 million agreement to supply next-generation identity proofing to Login.gov.
