Role Summary

The Enterprise Application Support Specialist - Assets & Purchasing is the primary support resource and subject matter expert for the applications that run asset management, purchasing, and construction operations - with Procore as the anchor platform. The role combines application support, configuration, business analysis, and integration troubleshooting to keep these systems reliable, well-adopted, and aligned with business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Application Administration & Support

  • Serve as the primary support resource for Procore and supporting asset management, purchasing, and field applications.
  • Administer configuration, permissions, workflows, templates, forms, directories, and project or asset settings across supported applications.
  • Troubleshoot user, data, and workflow issues, escalating to vendors or internal technical teams as needed.
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures for supported applications and processes.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, document current- and future-state processes, and improve adoption of Procore and related systems.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, configuration decisions, user stories, and test scenarios.
  • Align processes across Construction Operations, Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, Project Controls, and IT.

Integrations, Data & Technical Enablement

  • Support integrations between Procore, asset management, purchasing, and enterprise systems such as ERP, document management, reporting, and identity platforms.
  • Assist with API, middleware, data mapping, and integration troubleshooting alongside technical teams or consultants.
  • Validate data quality and system behavior after configuration changes, releases, or integration updates.

Training, Adoption & Governance

  • Train end users and power users on application functionality, process expectations, and best practices.
  • Promote consistent standards, governance, naming conventions, and permissions across supported applications.
  • Track support trends and recurring issues to prioritize roadmap and operational improvements.

 

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise business applications in asset management, procurement, construction technology, or ERP-adjacent environments.
  • Hands-on Procore administration and configuration experience (permissions, workflows, templates, forms), plus exposure to asset management or purchasing systems.
  • Business analysis experience: requirements gathering, process documentation, and solution design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot functional application issues as well as integration, data, and workflow problems.
  • Working knowledge of application governance, change management, and user support practices.
  • Excellent communication skills across field, operations, finance, procurement, IT, vendor, and leadership audiences.

Preferred Experience

  • Asset management or EAM/CMMS platforms, purchasing and procure-to-pay workflows, project controls, or project accounting.
  • APIs, iPaaS or middleware platforms, SSO, data mapping, or reporting.
  • Working with vendors, consultants, or implementation partners.
  • Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365.
