BIRD Energy is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy, Israel's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and the Israel Innovation Authority, managed by the BIRD Foundation. It provides conditional grants for joint U.S.-Israel research and development projects in clean and renewable energy, focusing on commercializing sustainable energy technologies to improve economic competitiveness, create jobs, and strengthen energy security.
