The program spans eight weeks, commencing in July 2026, with a flexible, opt-in time commitment. Participants will gain access to a curated network of peers from leading companies and engage in an in-person dinner series in San Francisco, with potential expansion to other cities based on demand.

Who Should Apply

Whether identified as an FDE, Applied AI Agent Builder, or Director of AI Deployment, the focus is on mindset and approach rather than a specific title. The role of AI deployment in enterprises has evolved significantly since the FDE role's inception at Palantir in the early 2010s.

Today, FDEs are critical enablers for agentic platforms, essentially conducting R&D at the customer interface. They immerse themselves in client operations to ensure AI agents are sophisticated enough for real-world workflows, making the Forward-Deployed Engineering role pivotal.
