Glasswing Ventures Hits $200M Fund III to Accelerate AI-native and Frontier Technology Adoption in the Enterprise

Glasswing Ventures, a first-capital-in AI investor in AI-native and Frontier Technology startups, announced the close of its $200 million Fund III, dedicated to pre-seed and seed-stage investments. The firm exceeded its target, attracting strong commitments from both existing and new Limited Partners, reflecting confidence in its track record and portfolio quality. Two investments have already been made from the new fund.

Since its founding in 2018, Glasswing Ventures has invested in 70 startups across enterprise B2B and cybersecurity, serving as the first institutional investor in over 90% of them.

“We are at a tipping point where AI is moving from incremental adoption to systemic transformation of the enterprise,” said Rudina Seseri, Founder and Managing Partner. “Fund III enables us to back founders defining that shift and building enduring category leaders.”

Fund III will focus on enterprise AI, cybersecurity, and frontier technologies such as vertical AI, physical AI, adaptive AI infrastructure, intelligent defense, collaborative intelligence, and next-gen compute. With a 14-person team and strong academic and industry ties, the firm maintains access to top researchers and engineers driving the next wave of innovation.

“Defensible innovation separates enduring companies from fleeting ones,” said Rick Grinnell, Managing Partner. “The true winners will leverage AI to build durable moats, not just shiny tools.”

Glasswing will continue to lead early-stage rounds and support founders through follow-ons, guided by its advisory network of 62 industry leaders. “Capital alone can’t create velocity,” said Managing Director Kleida Martiro. “With Fund III, we’re amplifying our model to help founders build businesses that endure market shifts.”

Building on momentum from its first two funds—whose portfolio companies have raised over $650 million in follow-on capital—Fund III will invest in approximately 25 startups. With global enterprise AI spending projected by IDC to surpass $600 billion by 2028 and security spending rising 12.5% annually, Glasswing is positioned to remain a leading early investor in transformative AI and frontier technologies.
