Synthflow AI, the Berlin-based startup that’s rapidly making enterprise-grade voice AI agents accessible to non-technical users, has just secured $20 million in a Series A round led by Accel, with participation from Atlantic Labs and Singular—bringing its total funding to $30 million.
The fresh capital will fuel global expansion, including a new US office, and accelerate product development as the company aims to further disrupt the $168 billion global conversational AI market.
Founded in 2023 by Hakob Astabatsyan, Albert Astabatsyan, and Sassun Mirzakhan-Saky, Synthflow AI has quickly carved out a niche by offering a no-code, white-label platform that lets enterprises deploy sophisticated, human-like voice agents for customer service, appointment scheduling, lead qualification, and more—without the need for specialized AI or engineering teams. The platform has already processed over 45 million calls, serves more than 1,000 customers, and saves clients an estimated 5 million hours in contact center operations, while boasting a 99.9% uptime and 35% more calls answered than traditional setups.
Synthflow AI’s approach stands out for its speed and simplicity: enterprises can launch custom voice agents in as little as three weeks, a stark contrast to the six-month onboarding typical of legacy providers. The platform integrates with more than 200 enterprise tools—including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, and major telephony systems—and is fully compliant with HIPAA and GDPR, making it a compelling option for regulated industries like healthcare and financial services.
The company is now handling roughly 5 million calls per month and reports a 15x growth rate year-over-year, with over 90% customer retention among enterprise client.
“We’re at this stage where, I would say, [we’re] in a post-product-market-fit era, where we know who our customers are,” said Hakob Astabatsyan, Co-founder and CEO. The focus is now on scaling up—both in terms of product and reach—as Synthflow AI targets the massive BPO and contact center markets, which are increasingly hungry for automation that doesn’t sacrifice quality or security.
The conversational AI landscape is crowded, with well-funded competitors like Sierra and Bland AI also vying for dominance. But Synthflow AI’s rapid traction and focus on ease of use, reliability, and compliance could give it an edge as enterprises look for solutions that are both powerful and easy to adopt. The broader market is projected to reach nearly $50 billion by 2031, but with Synthflow AI’s current momentum and the global customer service market valued at $159 billion in the US alone, the opportunity is even larger.
