Swiss CleanTech startup Jaipur Robotics secured an additional €161k in funding. Venture Kick provided the capital. This investment supports the company's intelligent automation platform for waste-to-energy plants.
Manno-based Jaipur Robotics addresses multi-million-euro losses from manual waste handling. Their computer vision platform optimizes waste recognition and process management. This system targets inefficiencies like hazardous objects and poor waste mixing.
The SaaS platform uses patent-pending AI vision technology. It offers real-time detection of oversized or hazardous items. Furthermore, it provides calorific mapping for optimal waste mixing. Automated alerts assist crane operators, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Advancing Waste-to-Energy Automation
Founded in 2024 by Ermes Zamboni and Nikhil Prakash, Jaipur Robotics aims to transform the Waste-to-Energy sector. Their deep learning expertise from ETH Zurich drives this innovation. The company seeks to become a leading operating system for the global waste industry. This expansion follows a March €725k pre-Seed round, supported by TiVentures SA.
The €1.1 trillion waste management sector faces significant challenges. Jaipur Robotics' technology offers a solution where traditional methods, sometimes involving large players like Veolia or industrial automation firms such as Siemens, fall short. The funding will advance international certification efforts. It also strengthens the company's IP portfolio, crucial for clean energy applications. The system turns chaotic waste streams into clear operational decisions.
