<p>Planet A Foods has secured $30 million in a Series B funding round, bringing total funding to over $45 million.</p><p>The round was co-led by Burda Principal Investments and Zintinus, allowing Planet A Foods to scale production from 2,000 to over 15,000 tons annually.</p><p>Participation also came from World Fund, Bayern Kapital, Cherry Ventures, Tengelmann Ventures, AgriFoodTech Venture Alliance, and Omnes Capital.</p>
Israeli High Tech Mobilizes to Solve the Labor Shortage
Place-IL, an initiative backed by dozens of companies, including Google, Cisco, Armis, Palo Alto Networks and Riskified, will combine the underrepresented populations of the social and geographical periphery using a unique and cross-company internship program. The platform aims to fill thousands of open positions by locating and placing talents who go “under the radar”. The initiative was devised by Idan Tendler, among the founders of Bridgecrew, which was sold to Palo Alto Networks, joined by Gigi Levy-Weiss, Michael Eisenberg, Ronni Zehavi, Nadir Izrael and the global software investor Insight Partners as a strategic partner
