Speedrun

Speedrun is a highly competitive startup accelerator program launched by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) in 2023. It runs for approximately 12 weeks in San Francisco, with two cohorts per year, accepting around 50-70 startups per cohort. The program invests up to $1 million into each company, typically $500,000 upfront for 10% equity via a SAFE note, with an additional $500,000 upon raising a subsequent round within 18 months. Speedrun provides founders with access to a16z's extensive advisory and business networks, offering support in areas like go-to-market strategy, brand development, media strategy, and talent sourcing. Startups also receive perks such as $5 million in credits to vendors like AWS, OpenAI, and Nvidia.
