I look at myself as a problem solver - be it managing people, working out a strategy or designing a solution. With a mindset of an entrepreneur I have always loved the interaction between the "what" (product), the "how" (R&D) and the "why?" (Biz Dev). My career has taken me through various positions. I started out as a backend software developer in a small company. Later on I wanted to experience the full spectrum of development by creating something of my own so I teamed up with a friend and became the CTO of SensoPark. A year and a half later, I wanted to integrate my technical skills with my managerial skills so I became a full stack development team leader of 2 different teams. This is where I got to experience on-hands development of all varieties, manage and nurture my employees and be closer to the product and decision making - which later became a part of my actual job as I took on the role of the product manager. Although versatile and fulfilling, I didn’t feel that I was having a real impact on a global scale. So when the opportunity presented itself to become a co-founder of MDI where I could incorporate my technical skills, product knowledge and experience and be a part of the creation of this amazing platform which literally saves lives - it was a perfect fit.
