Technology venture investor with strong track record in Global Fintech, Insur-tech and South East Asia venture investments. I focus on 3 areas: 1. Since 2012, I have been leading Horizons’ Fintech and Insurtech investments globally with the aim of using technology to make financial services more inclusive, accessible, and transparent. Many of our investments have become unicorns that redefine financial products and services, such as Hippo (NYSE: HIPO), Doma (NYSE: DOMA), Bakkt (NYSE: BKKT), N26, WeFox, Blockstream, Ajaib and Airwallex. I also care deeply about digital safety and invested in Sentropy (sold to Discord). 2. SEA: I lead Horizons’ investment footprint into South East Asia. We have invested in some of the fastest growing companies such as Ajaib, Kopi Kenengan, Bobobox, Super, and more. 3. Health & Sustainability: Miotech (ESG), ALVA (Electronic vehicle), and SaNOtize R&D (anti infective platform). Board experience: I sat/am on the Board of highly dynamic, fast growing technology companies such as N26, WeFox, Ajaib, Hippo Insurance, Blockstream, Miotech, NiYO and more.
