Erez Tobias, is the Co-Founder & CEO of Crowdsense.ai and Algense.com, a social networks AI-based event detection and analytics platform for investors (Crowdsense.ai) and for development teams (Algense.com). As the Product and R&D leader of company, Erez spearheaded the development of a platform that uses advanced NLP/ML algorithms to filter and analyze tsunamis of social networks posts in order to detect and aggregate events as well as spikes in sentiment or hype. Erez was also responsible for raising $2.5M in a few rounds, acquiring 70K+ users with very low CPA, and development of products that provide access to the insights including a web dashboard for investors and for companies, a mobile app, an API for recent data, and an automated algotrading bot. Erez Tobias brings 20+ years of diverse experience as an entrepreneur and as a product and technology executive across startups (Crowdsense, Holisto, MDG Medical) and large organizations (Microsoft, Nokia, Air Force). In addition to leading Crowdsense.ai, he is also an angel investor, board advisor and mentor to startups. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he has been the first head of product for Holisto (later merged into a SPAC), and prior to that he as been the VP of Product for Alcatel-Lucent's (Acquired by Nokia) cloud business unit. Earlier on, he has been with Microsoft for almost a decade. In his most recent tole, Erez was one of the founders of Microsoft Azure as the global architect of its initial enterprise business, now a multi-billion-dollar business. Earlier on, he has been the Country CTO and Presale Group Manager for development and cloud platforms for Microsoft Israel. Before joining Microsoft, he has been the head of software development across startups such as MDG Medical and Ezface. Mr. Tobias holds a B.Sc. in computer sciences and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University, both with distinction.
