Investor: Made 20 early stage venture investments, of which 3 IPOed (Monday.com, Riskified, Windward) and 3 others are now >$1B valuation. As a partner at Genesis Partners, I led the seed rounds of Monday.com, Riskified, JoyTunes and others. In 2013 I partnered up with Michael Eisenberg to establish Aleph, a founders-first venture capital fund. So far, turned $30M of invested capital to ~ $1.2B of cash and liquid holdings. 2. Entrepreneur: Aternity (>150 employees in Israel and Boston, de-facto standard for user experience monitoring. raised >$25M, exited 2016 to Riverbed), Face.com (massive face recognition, raised $5M, exited 2013 to Facebook). 3. Accelerator: Created The Junction (http://thejunction.co.il), the first accelerator in Israel for early stage companies. It's since been voted the #1 startup program and was the birthplace for KitLocate (now Yandex Israel), ClarityRay (now part of Yahoo), Simplee (acquired by flywire) AppsFlyer and other great companies. 4. Geek: Started Geekcon (http://www.geekcon.org), the #1 makers conference in Europe, with >2,000 participants over the last 15 years, spending a weekend together building useless stuff. 5. Teacher: I am faculty at the IDC Zell program where the teams building PicScout (now GettyImages), Gifts Project (now eBay), Wibiya (now Conduit) and many great others came to be. Some of the boards I serve on are Anodot, Fabric, JoyTunes, Multinarity, Next Silicon, and most recently Unit. Was on the Monday.com, Houseparty and Riskified boards. I volunteer and sit on the Board of trustees of Bankinter Innovation, Board of Directors of Israel Bitcoin Association, TAU Ventures and Ramot, the Tel Aviv University tech transfer.
