Aaron Applbaum is a Partner at MizMaa Ventures. He manages the fund in Israel. He helps lead investment into early stage technology companies and continues to help those companies grow through their advancement. Previously, Mr. Applbaum was the Director of Investments at Strategic Cyber Ventures LLC. At Strategic Cyber Ventures, he helped lead the firm’s efforts to identify companies for investment, as well as played the critical role throughout the investment evaluation and execution process. Previously, Mr. Applbaum worked on the Direct Investments desk at Hudson Bay Capital Management. He helped lead the deployment of capital in multiple private deals for growth stage companies, many of which focused on the cybersecurity space. Prior to Hudson, he spent time in both government and non-profit sectors in defense related fields, including at the department of defense. He graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where his independent research focused on the intelligence community, mid-east politics and cybersecurity.
