WiseBee Secures €2.1M for Autonomous Cyber Defense

WiseBee, a US-Bulgarian cybersecurity startup, raised €2.1 million in pre-Seed funding. Frontline Ventures and BrightCap Ventures led this WiseBee cybersecurity funding round.

WiseBee develops an Agentic cyber risk mitigation platform. This system provides an on-demand, autonomous security team. It monitors, detects, and neutralises threats for mid-market companies.

The platform uses AI-powered remediation workflows. It aims to fix alerts rather than just surfacing them. WiseBee serves mid-sized organizations (200, 2,000 employees) in regulated sectors like FinTech and healthcare.

Founders Stoyan Stoyanov (CEO) and Taha Kazi (CDO) established WiseBee in 2024. They operate from New York and Sofia. Stoyanov previously led product at SecurityScorecard; Kazi brings AI and data engineering experience from Amazon.

Enhancing Autonomous Cyber Capabilities

The new capital from this WiseBee cybersecurity funding will accelerate platform development and deployment. WiseBee plans to enhance autonomous capabilities and expand integrations. The company also intends to grow its team.

WiseBee secures critical environments in public and private sectors. For instance, a global FinTech unicorn leverages its platform for vendor risk, and a next-gen SpaceTech company protects its digital footprint. A local US Government monitors vendors and resolves vulnerabilities automatically. Additionally, a Bulgarian bank and a pan-European FinTech provider use WiseBee for proactive attack surface management.

Pilot programs are underway with CISOs across various sectors. WiseBee reduces time-to-response from days to hours. The company expands across Europe and North America, showing early traction.
