ThreatSpike Secures $14M Series A Funding

ThreatSpike, a UK-based cybersecurity firm, announced today that it has successfully closed a $14 million Series A funding round. This marks the company's first external investment since its founding in 2011, having previously relied solely on organic growth and word-of-mouth referrals. The funding round was led by Expedition Growth Capital.

The company provides a next-generation managed security service that combines technology and expert support to help businesses detect and mitigate cyber threats. ThreatSpike differentiates itself by offering a collaborative partnership approach, rather than simply providing a suite of tools, focusing on proactive threat hunting and response.

ThreatSpike's services include ThreatSpike Red (unlimited penetration testing) and ThreatSpike Blue (managed detection and response). The company boasts over 200 customers across 90 countries, demonstrating significant market traction.

The $14 million in funding will be used to fuel ThreatSpike's global expansion, bolstering its engineering, security operations, and go-to-market teams, as well as accelerating its product roadmap.
