TextYess Funding Propels AI Conversational Commerce to Global Stage

Italian AI startup TextYess has successfully closed a €2.4 million Seed funding round, marking a significant milestone for its ambitious international expansion plans. The round was co-led by VC Partners, an Italian fund with deep roots in e-commerce, and Entourage, a Belgian B2B SaaS-focused fund.

TextYess, launched in January 2024, has rapidly established itself by transforming WhatsApp into a hyper-personalized sales channel for e-commerce brands. The platform leverages artificial intelligence to automate highly tailored sales conversations. Furthermore, it integrates with existing tech stacks to analyze customer behavioral data, including purchases and browsing history. This allows for the generation of bespoke, AI-written messages for individual customers, driving engagement and sales.

The company has already demonstrated robust growth, surpassing €1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by August 2025, just 18 months post-launch. With over 160 clients across diverse sectors like fashion, beauty, and food, TextYess has proven its model's efficacy. Brands utilizing the platform reportedly generate an average of €30 in revenue for every €1 invested, a compelling return on investment.

TextYess Accelerates Global Reach with Strategic Funding

This latest capital injection will primarily fuel TextYess's international expansion efforts. Moreover, it will enable the startup to scale its suite of AI agents and significantly grow its commercial team. Riccardo Russo, Co-founder and CEO of TextYess, emphasized the funding's role in validating their vision. He stated their ambition to become the European leader in conversational commerce, one personalized interaction at a time.

The investor lineup reflects a strategic alignment with TextYess's market ambitions. VC Partners brings invaluable e-commerce expertise, with its founders having previously driven the €5 billion exit of YNAP. Entourage, conversely, contributes extensive international B2B SaaS experience, having backed numerous global startups. This combination of sector-specific knowledge and scaling acumen provides a strong foundation for TextYess's future.

TextYess offers a comprehensive suite of AI-powered tools designed to optimize sales, automate support, and reactivate customers. These include AI Broadcast Campaigns, which deliver personalized promotional messages based on past activity. Additionally, Advanced Automation Flows handle tasks like abandoned cart recovery and new product launches to specific segments. The platform also features a 24/7 AI Shopping Assistant, trained on a brand's catalog to manage orders and provide real-time support.

The long-term vision extends beyond current messaging capabilities. The team is actively developing a full suite of AI agents aimed at automating the entire management of an e-commerce store. Russo highlighted the prevalent manual processes within most e-commerce teams. He articulated TextYess's goal: to empower these teams by automating repetitive tasks, thereby allowing human talent to focus on strategic initiatives.
