How much is AI actually driving Snowflake?

Ramaswamy said the company raised full year guidance by 5 points to 36% on the strength of that loop.

AI products Goku and CoWork drive token consumption directly, then pull in larger second and third order consumption as teams build and optimize on the platform.

What is Goku?

Goku is Snowflake's coding agent for data, included free under a consumption model rather than a per user subscription.

Ramaswamy said any job on Snowflake goes 5 to 10 times faster with Goku, with benchmarks showing an edge over off the shelf models.

Why does Snowflake think Goku stands out?

The agent understands Snowflake internals better than generic harnesses from foundation labs.

That depth, plus no seat based pricing, makes it an easy sell to data teams already on Snowflake.

Where did 2,000 new accounts show up?

Snowflake added 2,000 accounts in the quarter, which first shows up as AI token consumption from CoCo usage.

The bigger lift comes afterward, as teams ingest more data, debug pipelines, build interactive tables for dashboards, and deploy agents in CoWork to business users.

Should investors worry about RPO?

Remaining performance obligations came in below Wall Street consensus.

Ramaswamy said not to put much emphasis on it, citing larger renewals pushed to later in the year and confidence that RPO will rise sharply in Q4.

Revenue remains the leading indicator, and it's very healthy, he said.

How does Snowflake frame the fight with Databricks?

Asked about Databricks targeting 80% growth and more than $7 billion in ARR, Ramaswamy contrasted heritages.

Snowflake pitches a cohesive, governed, easy to use platform for an enterprise's most valuable data, while Databricks grew from a developer first, open code base origin with more sprawl and less focus on governance and disaster recovery.

He said Snowflake is now using AI to move upstream into sales operations and supply chain transformation, not just infrastructure.

What can customers do now that they could not a year ago?

Indeed has rolled out CoCo and CoWork to employees in over 60 countries and 28 languages.

United Rentals was cited as another example of ready access to data and reasoning that was not possible a year or two ago.

Snowflake stock jumped 20% on the results, on track for its best day since May and its highest level since December 2021.
