Spot AI, a leader in AI camera systems, recently raised $31 million in Series B1 funding, bringing their total funding to $93 million. This latest round included new investor Qualcomm Ventures alongside existing backers Scale Venture Partners, StepStone Group, Redpoint Ventures, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Spot AI also introduced their flagship product, Video AI Agents, a pivotal step in applying Agentic AI capabilities to real-world challenges. Video AI Agents empower organizations to instantly address and resolve safety, security, and operational incidents, delivering measurable returns on investment across sectors like manufacturing, education, retail, and auto services.
Traditional video surveillance systems were limited to recording and basic alerts, relying on human intervention for responses. Video AI Agents, however, transform cameras into proactive problem-solvers that can autonomously assess and respond to situations. “Our AI Agents can fully understand the context of a scene and trigger mitigation actions,” explains CEO and co-founder, Rish Gupta. For instance, agents can send alerts, analyze data, activate lights or sounds, issue verbal commands, or even initiate machinery adjustments to enhance safety and efficiency in real-time.
