Predoc Secures $30M for AI-Driven Healthcare Document Automation

Predoc, an AI-driven health information management startup, secured $30 million in combined seed and Series A funding. Base10 Partners led this significant Predoc funding round. The company aims to automate medical records management, thereby eliminating manual document retrieval in healthcare.

Founded in 2022, Predoc addresses the fragmented health information management (HIM) market. Predoc's platform utilizes AI in healthcare to streamline administrative tasks for medical professionals.

Predoc's technology replaces legacy systems and internal teams. The company currently serves approximately 35 customers. Its products offer a fully outsourced solution for medical records management.

The platform frees doctors from burdensome administrative duties. It allows them to focus on patient care.

The $30 million Predoc funding round also saw participation from Northzone, Eniac, and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA). Angel investors from Flatiron Health, Datavant, Thirty Madison, and Blackstone also contributed.

Predoc's approach targets the 90% of the HIM market unaddressed by larger providers. Traditional electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic Systems and Cerner primarily serve the top 10%. Predoc offers a specialized alternative to these broader platforms, alongside companies such as athenahealth.
