Next Era of Mobile Generative AI, AI21 Labs Unveils Apple Siri Intgration for Wordtune iOS
AI21 Labs \' Wordtune iOS app now integrates into Apple\'s Siri voice-activated prompts.
AI21 Labs' Wordtune iOS app now integrates into Apple's Siri voice-activated prompts. Originally launched in December 2022, Wordtune for iOS was designed to help users create and refine their text. With the new update, users can generate text based on voice or text prompts, such as composing an email or creating a Twitter thread.
This integration of Siri comes shortly after AI21 Labs partnered with Amazon Bedrock, an AWS service providing pre-trained AI models for building generative AI applications. Bedrock hosts models from various providers, including AI21 Labs, which offers its Jurassic-2 family of multilingual models on the platform.
In addition to facilitating text generation on mobile devices, the updated Wordtune app can also generate captions for photos and craft emails. The feature is currently available for free. AI21 Labs' expansion into voice-activated text generation signals a new era in the application of generative AI technologies, potentially transforming how users communicate from their mobile devices.
Wordtune's integration with Siri also includes a command feature. Users can dictate their prompt using Siri with the phrase, “Hey Siri, create with Wordtune.” The mobile app is free with a limit of ten rewrite or composition suggestions per day. A premium plan, priced at $25 per month or $10 per month with a yearly subscription, offers unlimited suggestions.
