Copenhagen-based Moxso, a cybersecurity company, raised €4.7 million in a Seed funding round. Seed Capital led the investment. This funding will fuel the company's global expansion.
Moxso transforms human behavior into real-time risk intelligence. Founded in 2021, the firm develops adaptive, AI-powered security awareness solutions. It aims to turn employees into active defenders against cyber threats.
Fueling Global AI Security Awareness
The investment will accelerate product innovation in AI-driven risk intelligence. Furthermore, Moxso plans to expand into new European markets. The company also intends to grow its team across engineering, product, and go-to-market functions.
Moxso's platform replaces static security training with a real-time model. It analyzes behavior to generate live intelligence. Consequently, it builds evolving risk profiles that adapt as employee behavior shifts. This approach delivers targeted interventions only where risk exists, unlike traditional methods from companies like KnowBe4 or Proofpoint.
The company quadrupled its headcount and tripled revenue last year.
Ugly Duckling Ventures and D2 Fund also participated in the round. Geeta Schmidt, former CEO of Humio, joins Moxso as an investor and board member. Her experience in cybersecurity startups further strengthens the company's leadership. Humio was acquired by CrowdStrike in 2021.
Moxso's unique AI-driven approach makes companies and their employees stronger against cyberattacks. This funding therefore supports its mission to provide measurable, automated resilience. The demand for advanced AI innovation in security awareness continues to grow across European tech funding markets.
