Advancing Enterprise Browser Capabilities
The company has already gained the trust of over 450 enterprise customers. Notably, this includes six of the 10 largest U.S. banks. Island's embedded browser security provides crucial visibility and governance. Consequently, enterprises can embrace modern work environments. They maintain data within corporate boundaries and meet compliance requirements.
Cybersecurity remains a top strategic priority for large enterprises.
Island's Enterprise Browser offers a secure workspace and application delivery platform. It simplifies work, enhances productivity, and keeps data fundamentally secure. Unlike traditional browsers such as Chrome Enterprise or Microsoft Edge for Business, Island embeds core IT and security needs directly into the browser. This provides unprecedented last-mile control.
The platform enables organizations to precisely govern all browser activity. IT teams log and audit work activity while keeping personal browsing private. Additionally, security teams protect sensitive data from sophisticated attacks. This secure-by-design architecture is a key differentiator. Moreover, users gain productivity features within a familiar Chromium-based experience. Solutions like Zscaler's Zero Trust Browser also focus on secure web experiences.
Island uses its Enterprise Browser to deliver secure access to SaaS and web applications. It enables zero-trust network access. The platform also makes BYOD viable and streamlines contractor onboarding. This reduces reliance on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
