Gallabox, a startup transforming AI-driven conversational commerce for SMBs, has raised $3.5 million in a seed round led by FUSE, with participation from Prime Venture Partners and Neon Fund. This brings its total funding to $5 million since its inception in 2021.
With traditional communication channels losing effectiveness, businesses worldwide—especially in WhatsApp-dominant regions—struggle to engage customers. Large enterprises have long benefited from custom-built WhatsApp automation, while SMBs have been left managing conversations manually, leading to revenue loss and inefficiencies. Gallabox bridges this gap by enabling businesses to deploy AI-powered WhatsApp automation with a no-code platform.

Unlike fragmented communication tools, Gallabox provides an end-to-end solution for marketing, sales, and customer engagement. Businesses can create AI chatbots for lead qualification, automate drip marketing, and streamline team collaboration via shared inboxes. The platform supports broadcast messaging, appointment booking, and personalized service recommendations, making AI-driven automation accessible to businesses of all sizes.
“The shift to B2C messaging is undeniable, but most businesses lack the tools to capitalize on it,” said Karthik Jagannathan, CEO and co-founder of Gallabox. “Our platform enables any business, regardless of technical expertise or budget, to deploy sophisticated AI agents on WhatsApp, turning every conversation into a business opportunity within minutes.”
Gallabox’s rapid adoption underscores its impact. Launched in Chennai, India’s SaaS hub, it secured its first 100 customers within 100 days. Today, it serves over 10,000 businesses across 45 countries, with strong traction in education, healthcare, real estate, and travel. The company has expanded into the Middle East, Latin America, and the US, where WhatsApp is a dominant business communication tool.
“The world is standardizing on WhatsApp for business engagement, and Gallabox provides a complete marketing, sales, and commerce suite on top of it,” said Kellan Carter, Founding Partner at FUSE. “Thrilled to partner with Karthik, Yogesh, Yathindhar, and the Gallabox team as they shape the future of business-to-customer communication.”
Looking ahead, Gallabox is evolving beyond WhatsApp automation to become a comprehensive AI-driven sales and marketing platform. The company is developing AI agents that businesses can train via natural language, handling complex tasks from lead qualification to prospect engagement. With its latest funding, Gallabox aims to enhance its product capabilities and expand globally, making enterprise-grade AI automation accessible to SMBs everywhere.
