8Flow.ai, a startup specializing in the automation of customer support workflows, announced a $6.6 million funding round led by Caffeinated Capital, with participation from BoxGroup, Liquid2, HNVR, and Trilogy Equity Partners. A number of angel investors also participated in the round, including Nat Friedman (Github), Michael Scarpelli (Snowflake/ServiceNow), Dave Schneider (ServiceNow), Howie Liu (Airtable), Slavik Markovich (Demisto/Palo Alto Networks), and others.
8Flow.ai leverages AI and automation to empower enterprise support teams and navigate across customer support systems. The platform understands and learns from the agents' tasks during ticket resolution, mines these tasks and then generates automations for repetitive tasks across ticketing systems, business applications, spreadsheets, customer databases, CRM platforms, and beyond.
The startup also introduced an enterprise-grade self-learning workflow automation engine that seamlessly integrates with leading ticketing platforms like Zendesk, ServiceNow, and Salesforce Service Cloud. As the agents work, 8Flow.ai crafts automations and allows them to steer the AI towards the correct ticket resolution, thus fostering continuous learning and improvement. Additionally, it offers coaching, high-level analytics and insights into agent workflows, expediting onboarding and enhancing the value delivered.
While customer support is the initial focus for 8Flow.ai, the solution will soon be extended to aid other business functions such as invoice processing in finance, customer onboarding in sales, and inventory management in operations. The startup also earned SOC 2 Certification.
The startup was founded last year by Boaz Hecht (CEO), Josh Russ (COO) and Yev Goldin (VP of Platform). 8Flow.ai is Hecht's second startup venture following the successful sale of his first venture to Service Now, SkyGiraffe, a no code automation platform for business applications.
