Enter, a Berlin-based company providing a comprehensive platform for energy efficiency renovations in the real estate sector, announced the closing of its Series B funding round.
The company offers services encompassing analysis, planning, financing, and execution of energy-efficient renovations for single-family and multi-family homes. Enter utilizes an asset-light approach, leveraging technology to streamline the renovation process. Their platform includes an "Address Intelligence Tool" for automated property assessments, AI-powered renovation plans, and a network of vetted contractors. The company reports serving over 25,000 clients annually and achieving a growth rate exceeding 100%. In Germany alone, over 15 million buildings require energy optimization, with a European total exceeding 180 million.
The round was led by SE Ventures, the venture arm of Schneider Electric. Participating investors included Coatue, Target Global, noa (formerly A/O Proptech), Partech, and Foundamental. The €20 million Series B brings Enter's total investment since 2022 to over €40 million.
"Enter solves a major pain point in the renovation journey of homeowners in Germany. It has shown great traction and their series B will allow them to accelerate the deployment of their differentiated products in Germany," commented Julien Cristiani, General Manager at SE Ventures.
The global energy efficiency market in real estate is substantial and growing. Enter's platform aims to address the complexity of energy-efficient renovations through technological solutions, including automated assessments and streamlined contractor matching. The company's B2B segment, Enter Commercial, has established partnerships with various entities, including listed companies and family offices. The funding will be used to accelerate Enter's growth strategy.
