Cybersecurity startup Daylight Security raised $33 million in new funding.
The company will use the capital for U.S. expansion and product development.
This investment will also support new AI-driven security modules. These modules focus on identity threat response and cloud workload protection. Daylight Security offers a managed detection and response (MDR) platform. It was founded by veterans of Israel’s Unit 8200 intelligence unit. The platform uses AI agents for continuous security monitoring and triage. These agents also perform context-aware investigations and initial remediation. Human analysts intervene for higher-level decision-making. This approach reduces alert fatigue and false positives for security teams. It aims to shorten the time it takes to resolve cyber threats. The company’s system can be deployed in under an hour. It integrates with existing cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments to provide full coverage.
The Series A round was led by Craft Ventures Management. Bain Capital Ventures and Maple VC also participated in the funding.
