Copenhagen-based sanitation startup Lapee secured €800,000 in a Seed funding round. Best Nights VC, Jägermeister's investment arm, led the investment. This capital will support Lapee's mission to expand its gender-inclusive urinals.

The company also launched an equity crowdfunding campaign. This invites its global community to become co-owners.

Founded in 2019, Lapee develops pink urinals for women and gender non-conforming individuals. The product aims to revolutionize public sanitation and gender inclusion at mass events. Lapee has gained significant visibility, with videos amassing over 90 million views.

Global Expansion for Gender-Inclusive Urinals

The strategic investment from Best Nights VC aligns Lapee with an investor within the startup ecosystem. This partnership strengthens Lapee's market position. The company plans European expansion and further deployments in under-served environments.

Lapee will install its solutions at stadiums, urban public parks, and construction sites. One installation is already planned for a Danish worksite. This initiative promotes equality in male-dominated industries, addressing inadequate sanitation solutions compared to traditional portable toilets.
