Confido Health raised $3 million in seed funding led by Together Fund with participation from MedMountain Ventures, Rebellion VC, and other strategic investors. This funding fuels the deployment of healthcare AI agents designed to revolutionize operational workflows and address critical staffing shortages in the industry.
The healthcare sector faces a staffing crisis, with a shortage of 6.5 million non-physician roles in 2023. This leads to overworked staff, constrained patient access, and declining operational efficiency. Existing tools often automate isolated tasks but fail to manage entire workflows, leaving gaps in efficiency.
The startup's healthcare AI agents, including Sara, Ryan, and Lily, automate end-to-end workflows such as appointment management, payment collections, pre- and post-operative engagement, and care transitions. These AI agents integrate deeply with EHRs, IVRs, and other legacy systems, enabling healthcare providers to reduce no-shows to under 5% and improve follow-up encounters by 3x.
“Our healthcare AI agents don’t just automate tasks; they take on the operational burden entirely,” said Chetan Reddy, CEO of Confido Health. “By integrating seamlessly with existing systems and enabling real-time task completion, we help practices recover lost revenue and focus on delivering high-quality care.”
Key Features and Benefits of Confido’s Healthcare AI Agents:
- Rapid Deployment: With expert-approved templates, healthcare providers can implement solutions in under 30 days.
- Time Savings: Each staff member saves at least 2 hours daily, thanks to automated administrative tasks.
- Scalability: AI agents work 24/7, handling multiple interactions simultaneously, reducing the need for additional hires.
- Patient-Centric Workflows: Agents proactively engage patients, ensuring seamless appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and education.
Confido Health has already automated over 100,000 hours of manual tasks, recovered millions in lost revenue, and enhanced patient experiences. “Patient engagement has improved significantly, and our patients love the proactive communication,” said Dr. Jacob Zitterkopf, CEO, Falcon Family Orthodontics. “With Confido, we’ve reduced call handling from five days to two, improving efficiency and patient satisfaction,” added Christine Barnstein, Medical Receptionist.
The global AI healthcare market is projected to grow from $27.7 billion in 2024 to $491 billion by 2032, offering a substantial opportunity for Confido’s healthcare AI agents to scale across specialties like orthopedics, surgery, and nephrology.
