Astrix Security, a startup specializing in securing non-human identities, has raised a $25 million Series A funding round, led by CRV with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and F2 Venture Capital. The investment brings Astrix's total funding to almost $40 million.
Astrix Security is focused on securing app-to-app connections in a rapidly evolving landscape that includes automation and Generative AI. The company has seen a rise in interest as the enterprise's connectivity to third-party applications has grown, leading to an increase in cyber attacks targeting these non-human connections. This has resulted in significant year-over-year growth for the company.
The funds raised will be used to expand Astrix's team in the U.S. and Tel Aviv offices. The company will also continue enhancing its product offering, aiming to close a critical security gap by allowing security teams to extend access management and threat detection to the non-human identity layer.
Astrix's unique focus on securing non-human identities and app-to-app connections has seen the company gain traction in a market increasingly focused on third-party connectivity. The Astrix Security Platform provides holistic visibility into all non-human connections and identities and extends threat detection and response capabilities to these entities.
