Chief Digital, Data & Transformation Officer Dave O’Donovan explained the airline’s strategy, emphasizing that understanding AI is no longer optional. The rapid evolution of AI necessitates strong data underpinnings; without them, AI initiatives are precarious. Aer Lingus has dedicated the past 18 months to building its platform, enhancing governance, and improving data quality, with data literacy as the cornerstone.
