Wexler.ai, a specialized AI platform for complex litigation, has successfully closed a $5.3 million Seed funding round. Led by Pear VC, this investment signals a significant step forward in the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in litigation, particularly for the world's largest law firms. The London-based company is already transforming workflows, notably with its new real-time fact-checking capabilities.

The funding arrives as wexler.ai unveils Wexler Real-Time, a groundbreaking feature within its fact intelligence platform. This innovation flags false or inconsistent testimony live during depositions and hearings. Furthermore, the platform helps firms build chronologies, query vast case materials, and surface key inconsistencies with unprecedented speed.

Since its pre-seed round in 2024, wexler.ai has achieved remarkable growth, increasing its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 20x. It has also reduced manual review times by at least 75% for its clients. Leading firms like HSF Kramer, Goodwin Procter, and Addleshaw Goddard have adopted the platform, while Clifford Chance has embedded it across its dispute resolution practice.

"We're replacing slow, manual, and error-prone litigation review with a system that thinks like a litigator but operates at machine scale and speed," stated Gregory Mostyn, co-founder and CEO of wexler.ai. "Litigators can now challenge inaccuracies as they happen in proceedings."

Unlike broader legal AI tools, wexler.ai is purpose-built to think like a litigator. The platform delivers verified, actionable facts with speed and scale, replacing traditional factual analysis. For instance, tasks like building detailed chronologies, which once took days, can now be completed in about an hour. This focus on specialized 'AI litigation' tools marks a significant industry shift.

Wexler.ai's Strategic Funding Fuels Global Expansion

Kathleen Estreich, Partner at Pear VC, emphasized the strategic importance of wexler.ai. "Greg and the wexler.ai team are building what's quickly becoming essential infrastructure for litigation," she noted. Their combination of real-time fact-checking and lawyer-centric workflows makes them indispensable.

Charlie Morgan, Partner at HSF Kramer, echoed this sentiment. "The wexler.ai platform is helping our teams do this more quickly and effectively," he said. This directly improves case strategies and client outcomes.

The system extracts, analyzes, and verifies key factual information across massive case datasets. It transforms raw data into usable work product. With the ability to process up to 500,000 documents per upload and support multilingual deployments, the technology addresses the complexity of modern global disputes.

Growing adoption across top-tier firms highlights the platform's category-defining role. From AmLaw 50 leaders to multinational firms, users report dramatic reductions in review time and stronger confidence in case strategy. Today, over 70% of wexler.ai users are in the U.S., with rapid expansion across the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

David Hobbie, Director, Knowledge & Innovation at Goodwin, praised the platform's accuracy. "Our lawyers have found it invaluable for early case assessment and thorough fact analysis," he commented. This includes identifying conflicting evidence.

The new funding will accelerate wexler.ai's product development, increasing document processing scale to millions per upload. It will also expand engineering and commercial teams, support the company's U.S. launch, and scale multilingual, region-specific deployments. Built by privacy and security experts, wexler.ai employs user-specific encryption keys, data masking, and complies with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and AWS Cloud Security standards.
