Sapphire Ventures led the investment, with participation from Left Lane Capital, Base10, Cross Creek, and angel investors. This WeTravel funding triples the company's valuation.
The multi-day travel platform will accelerate innovation across its operating system. This includes expanding global payment infrastructure and building AI tools. Furthermore, WeTravel plans to develop a WeTravel Network ecosystem for operators and partners. The company aims to automate manual workflows and scale businesses in real time.
WeTravel will invest in AI-driven tools within its Itinerary Builder. This allows designing interactive itineraries from PDFs with single prompts. Agentic tools will also save travel technology businesses time. These tools review and pay invoices, collect traveler information, and automate marketing efforts. The company will also grow its B2B WeTravel Network. This network supports discovering, coordinating, and paying vendors.
The company plans office expansions in Chicago, Amsterdam, Sydney, and Baku. WeTravel provides a technology for multi-day travel businesses, a segment previously underserved. It supports thousands of operators globally, with trips in 206 countries. Over 1.6 million travelers have used the platform. Competitors like TourRadar and Rezdy also serve parts of this market, focusing on global payment infrastructure.
WeTravel launched integrated Itinerary Builder and Supplier Transfers in March. This established it as the first operating system for the multi-day travel industry.
