US-based Haskell Deploys RodRadar's Live Dig Radar® on the Construction of NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars $130 Million Training Facility

RodRadar, a company developing sensors for detecting underground hazards, announced that Haskell, a Florida-based architecture, engineering, and construction firm, has become the first contractor in the US to deploy its debut product, LDR Excavate™. Haskell was an early investor in RodRadar and is now also one of its premier customers.

The LDR Excavate™ is a unique solution that integrates high-resolution ground-penetrating radar imaging into the excavator bucket. While operating the excavator, this system provides real-time, precise data on the location of underground utility infrastructure and automatically alerts the operator with clear notifications. By using the LDR Excavate, construction sites can prevent costly utility damage, increase safety, and improve project efficiency.

Haskell is using LDR Excavate™ in construction projects at various locations, including the Miller Electric Center, which will be a nearly $130 million facility serving as the new training arena for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The construction industry incurs over $100 billion in annual costs due to damage to underground infrastructure, including investments in less effective mitigation methods. Live Dig Radar is a significant improvement over current excavation technologies and processes, addressing their limitations.
