Second Nature has secured $22 million for its AI sales training platform. The Series B round was led by Sienna VC with participation from Zoom Communications.
This investment increases the company's total funding to more than $37 million.
The platform creates AI-powered personas for sales training. Managers provide a description of a sales scenario. The AI then simulates a realistic conversation for employees to practice with. It can mimic different types of buyers, from executives to technical staff. Companies can customize the AI by uploading internal documents. This includes product guides and recordings of successful sales calls. The platform analyzes this content to extract best practices. It then uses them to evaluate the performance of new hires.
Second Nature reports that its platform helps customers close 46% more deals.
The company serves major clients like Zoom, Oracle, and Adobe.
The technology can also be used by HR and customer service teams for their own training needs.
